I live for music, review, support & promote only the BEST music in any genre; I don't limit myself to one kind of music (or food, or movies or anything), having extremely diverse tastes in everything. I'm sensitive to distortion, applaud good production values. Hand drumming is my only musical outlet, unusual percussion & original compositions get me excited. I'm Eargasmic, if I don't FEEL it, I won't share it, I'm honest & upfront about music while respecting individual taste--instead I find the common ground in genres & give specific feedback based on things like sound, creativity & originality, taking risks, individual styles & diversity of talent. My top genres are: DnB, dub, classic & gothic rock, blues, African or Tribal drumming/chant, & Experimental; though I enjoy many other genres (such as techno, psytrance & electronic, heavy metal, grunge, etc) so don't let that stop you from sharing.
I also create digital content for the web & production of LIVE performances with HD camcorder, either locally for free or will travel to you if round trip expenses are covered. I can be found at http://www.reverbnation.com/fan/awolgina, http://vimeo.com/awolgina & http://www.ilike.com/user/Gina_J71 as well as the links above. My other favorite account is AWOLGina on soundcloud and my dedicated music sharing FB page AWOLGina (linked above) where you can post your own shares, videos, music & such.
I sometimes create my own remixes and mix/mashups, which are posted on mixcloud, or here, I am an infant at MUSIC production (been working with bands & music over 30 years) but enjoy learning & the experience helps me respect & admire your work more, as well as give better, more targeted feedback. I welcome mentors, suggestions, ideas & even constructive criticism--if I can dish it out, I surely can welcome the same. I prefer honestly, given & received, don't blow air up my butt & I won't lie to you either. If it sucks, I'll try to find something good about it to say, because it takes courage to put your work out there for others to judge, I encourage all I come into contact with to keep at it, if it's what you want to do in your heart & soul, don't give up five minutes before the miracle break heading your way already.
BTW, the username I wanted, Bass Addict or Addicted to Bass, was already taken times a hundred, sigh....I'm only a slut for drums and bass, otherwise I'm respectable, lol.
