Scott Featherstone

Recording and producing music since 1989, having been greatly influenced by the music played at the legendary Club Havana in Middlesbrough. Before that, Scott DJed in Darlington, playing Rare Groove, Funk, Hip Hop and Acid House at Zhivagos night club where he was resident for two years. Through the 90s and early 2000s Scott played in Leeds (Elbow Rooms, The Bourbon), Bradford (resident at Revolution), Middlesbrough (Corner House, Arena and the Purple Onion) and the now infamous Thimbleberry Festivals, playing both House Music and Hip Hop sets. Forever searching for the groove of grooves when making House Music, Scott Featherstones style is raw and to the point, no messing, punchy 'original classic House Music' with echoes of his Acid House and Funk/Hip Hop roots. Using a mix of both modern and classic synthesisers, drum machines and samplers to make only the finest of Underground House Music- armed with audio weapons such as the classic Roland TB303, TR808, TR909, TR707, TR727, R8, SH101, Yamaha dx100 to name a few. With several vinyl releases, the latest of which was featured on the first Sccucci Manucci 12” with a Funky Disco House remix of Circles. Currently a resident DJ at TRACKED with a digital HOUSE EP out on Attic Jam Recordings, Scott is also playing live sets at such nights as Riffraff and Click.
