Dj Moderno is a recognized Indie/ Dance / Nu Disco DJ in Spain.He was founder member of the spanish electropop band HORTHY (4 CD's released)and is also a recognized remixer as Dj Moderno.

He has worked as musician in different musical projects such as Horthy, Mina Coto, Grey Souls, Los Hermanos Maravilla, Electrik Disco Noize,Cannonball and he is currently an active member in the bands Igeldo and Amyjo Doh & The Spangles.
He composes music for advertisements and film soundtracks.
He has released remixes for several indie bands such as The Flamming Lips, The 1975, Jesus & Mary Chain, The Doors, Beastie Boys, Pixies, Bauhaus, St Lucia, Miami Horror, The Hives, Matt and Kim, Miss Kittin, Young Galaxy, We Are Standard, Buffet Libre, Grises, Odio Paris, The Birkins, Pull My Strings, Algora....
Dj Moderno has been also the promoter of the ElectroPop Festival FEP in Pamplona, Spain and also organizes several concerts and parties along the year under the promotion company FEP Producciones.
As DJ he has shared cabin with DJS such as Richard Collburn (Belle and Sebastian), Peter Hook, Chicks on Speed, EME DJ, Maadraassoo, Eclectico, Florent y yo (Los Planetas) Bilbadino....etc
Dj Moderno has played in the main indie venues around Spain and has participated as DJ in several summer festivals as Palmfest, Festival ElectroPop, EasyPop, Electroperra, Sonorama...etc
He played and composed music for Cibeles Fashion Parade during the years 2007&2008 for the spanish designer Antonio Pernas. He regularly plays for Roberto Verino in the Mercedes Benz fashion Week , last parades have been 2017,2018 & 2019
Dj Moderno performed live at New York City during August 2011 at the New York City International Film Festival among other events in different venues
He uses CD's + Live Abbleton + AKAI APC40 which allows him to produce live mash-ups. He plasys heis own remixes
Dj Moderno's gigs incorporate live components such as Theremin, Kaoss Pad, Synths, bass guitarr...etc.
