Some call me dj julia. I also go by the name, Julia PlanetDisco. I've been DJing since 1999 - I have a guest show on C89.5FM the Electrobox and have played a ton of clubs and parties in Seattle. I've also had the opportunity to DJ in New York and Paris. Recently I helped co-found the music festival in Seattle: Kremfest. (kremfest.com) +++ I have hosted many events including a long running electro and techno night at the club Mercury, in Seattle, and some one off's all under my promotional label: whatsyourmuse.com. I've help introduce cutting edge sounds to my city. In addition, I'm involved in the LGBTIA and Queer culture in creating safer spaces for everyone to thrive. I've also worked on film scores. Overall I think music is the Universal Language that brings people together from all walks of life. I am an event producer and nightclub consultant at the Kremwerk/Timbre Room complex. I really enjoy playing on the radio these days so catch my sets online or air mainly. Lately my interests have been behind the scenes as well as uplifting marginalized artists, so I tend to only play out about once a year for my iHeartSeattle show.
