Having had a taste for music at an early age, DJ & Producer Greg Lopes collected records, played instruments and got lost in the sounds of legends such as John Lennon and Bob Marley; turntabilists such as Limp Bizkit, Incubus and LinkinPark. Throughout his adolescent years he opened for various DJs and played radio shows in the Tri-State area, his passion maturing every step of the way.
Driven by his determination and longing to tighten up his skills, Greg Lopes enrolled in the NYC SAE Institute in 2009. He soon became a mastermind at producing and engineering beats, mixing with dimension and precision. Dabbling in a multitude of genres such as Tech House and Industrial Techno.
Within months, Greg saw opportunities emerge in the New York scene, propelling him to attain major recognition and make real connections in the industry. Over the years, he’s broadened his knowledge of production by gaining support from key players such as Electric Lady, Martin Eyerer, Dubfire and Gary Beck among others.
Using only vinyl from the start, Greg Lopes has played across North America from New York to Montreal at well known venues such as Pacha, Club Love, Warehouse Party and Cheri. Acquiring a large following and developing strong ties with artists such as Joubin and Monitor.
Excited for the future, Greg Lopes have been working hard in the studio with the intention to present the world his talent through music and exposing himself to more international dancefloors around the world where he can enlighten more crowds with his sound.

Greg G. knows how to amp a party up on the decks. Bronx-bred, Greg G. was inspired by the cultural movement of hip-hop at an early age, before realizing it was the rhythmic sound and beats that sparked his passion for music.
After discovering the House genre in his teens, he became fulfilled in a way he had never known before. Self-taught, he began mixing, cutting, resetting and researching various tracks and putting together his own versatile sound and set compilations. Motivated to break into the music industry, he started as a promoter for the NJ club scene, and soon developed his own guest list, while managing other promoters. With the right hookups and insiders, DJ Greg G. was born and his popularity steadily increased. Greg G. has played in hotspots such as Pacha, Cielo, Deko Lounge, and other locations in the Tristate area. He has worked with and opened for major artists such as Richie Santana and Peter Bailey, Sharam, The Martinez Brothers, Marcos Carnavale and many more.
Presently, Greg G. is a weekly resident at Tula Lounge in New Brunswick, NJ where he spins to enlighten people with what he views as amazing house music. During nights and weekends Greg G. is busy creating and producing his own original work with Chris Howland of A51 Records. His latest track was released to Beatport and iTunes in 2011 entitled, “Discipline Your Mind (Original Mix).”
