No mere art, this is Nature. Notice the geometry of the sounds. The kick/bass drums squeeze and compress the track volume, so it breathes with you. Retired in 2013, upon completion of the task. I started producing beats under the alias 'Cold Electric' in 2006 [obscure Nikola Tesla longitudinal EM-wave reference], with a childhood background playing guitar and viola. The first Cold Electric album (2008, feat Nishat on keys and Nick Wong on bass) went viral on 'pirate' sites when I submitted it for free distribuition: it was downloaded 20,000+ times within a few weeks, from bit torrent/filesharing sites (esp. Demonoid.com), once I wrote my "free for the people!" soapbox album description :) In Feb 2011, I self-released my second album, under the alias 'DJ Cold Electric', and finished a couple dozen additional songs after, including some fun projects with my buddy Voice Mau, whose raps I love! Then, once finished, I stopped making music in 2013 (barely escaping with life intact, no bs). These sounds are engineered for therapy, and are comprised of math and Nature. You will hear bliss and illness, and life in them. Going this deep into the water had some cost, to see the whole geometry of the sound :) Don't ask for more, cannot. The vibe blends hip-hop, indie rock, electronic dance music, and party/disco textures, with a touch of 'old-school video game' flavor. Enjoy!
