DJ Promiss Marieke de Boef Wageningen This accomplished Dutch DJ began her career in Rotterdam back in 1995 and is known for her energetic aura behind the decks, her ability to energise a crowd and always deliver a good time! She made her name playing in some of best clubs in the Netherlands, such as IT, RoXY, Off Corso, Matrixx, Panama and Asta and is widely known as one of the best loved DJ's on the Dutch Gay-scene. Internationally she has playing gigs for some of the best known brands, which included Pacha in Spain and Egypt, CDLC Barcelona, Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi and playing in cities such as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Paris, Copenhagen and London. She became a firm favourite at festivals such as Impulz Outdoor, Riverdance, Extrema, Lovefields and Rotterdam's Fast Forward Dance Parade which attracted up to 400,000 people and where DJ Promiss become the first femaie DJ in the Netherlands to play on her own truck! And this coming August she will be headlining Amsterdam Gay Pride for the 3rd year running! She is also widely known for her music releases on Basic Beat and Rhythm Import, with her releases being aired by Hollands biggest radio stations 3FM and Radio538. By organizing and hosting her own GIRLPLANET (www.girlplanet.info) women only parties in Arnhem, TULiPS gayparties in Amsterdam ,working together with producers like Rene Amesz and Gabriel Vezzola and her weekly gigs...there are enough challenges for the future!
