BIO:
‘I am a ninja'
‘no you’re not'
‘did you see me do that?'
‘do what?!'
‘exactly.'
When music is your yin and racing is your yang, it’s no surprise that London born Farah Nanji, known by her artist alias as NINJA, has had some of the world’s wisest stages spinning into transcendent circles for the last decade.
One of the few musicians in the world to deliver a TEDx talk which took place at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg in 2019 (https://youtu.be/O0T1MKh2JiM), with DJ MAG citing her as a 'fast rising, mega talented star', Farah has been obsessed with the ancestral art of the warrior since she was a child. Trained by the renowned Buddha Bar Group at the inception of her career, while simultaneously devoted as a racer in the world of motorsports, all roads have led to her being globally recognised as a DJ, motorsports entrepreneur and thought leader in her field today.
NINJA loves to paints her creative canvas through an extraordinary exploration of live sounds and instruments from the electric guitar to the sitar, inspired heavily by her ethnic roots, which stem back to the Indian and African subcontinents. These hypnotic sounds are then looped into pulses of deep tech and techno waves, creating an emotive experience for the listener whether they find themselves on her dancefloor in Pacha Ibiza or the Steelyard in London.
Farah is equally passionate about writing thought proving musings on the underground, training as a journalist for the Ibiza Paper in 2013. Since then the trust that she has built with her audience has enabled her to interview and play with some of the most prolific artists in the scene such as Nicole Moudaber, Subb-An, Pete Tong, Fur Coat, Blond:ish, My Favourite Robot, Third Son, Roger Sanchez, Deadmau5, Karmon, HVOB, Stimming, Anja Schneider & more.
She is currently the producer and host of the #1 podcast, Mission Makers, diving deep into the mindset of game changers in the worlds of music, motorsports and business. The show has featured prolific guests from Carl Cox to Bob Moses and is available on Apple, Spotify & YouTube.
In addition, Farah is a lecturer at Point Blank Music School in London.
