PULA
BORIS BJELICA BEBETTO was born in Pula, Croatia, where he still lives today. His DJing begins in elementary school at school parties. Those first sets were a combination of punk, postpunk, ska music, performers like; The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Specials, Joy Division, The Cure, Bauhaus, Talking Heads. Bebetto played synth and drums in several Pula punk/alter/rock bands; Die Blauen Reiter, Art Nouveaux, The Washingtones, Gori Uši Winnetou, Gola Jaja, Holiday Out. Along with playing, he is also involved in DJing and music journalism in fanzines and newspapers. From 1996. to 1998. he played jungle, drum'n'bass and dub at the parties of the association MALI MRAK. From 1998. to 2004. he worked at Pula's Radio Maestral as a host, journalist, DJ and music editor. Since 1998, his sets begin to be a fusion of deep/tech/progressive electronical music. Bebetto was an active member of the TCM group that organized the legendary MTV VALKANA BEACH FESTIVAL. From 2003. to 2012. he worked as a manager, organizer and DJ in Rovinj's MONVI CENTER. From 2011. to 2016, together with Branimir Slijepčević Brad, he edited and hosted the show REVIJA NA LEDU on Radio Pula. For the last ten years he has been a part of the SEASPLASH Platform, which has actively participated in the organization of OUTLOOK, DIMENSIONS, SLURP!, SEASPLASH festivals and many other events. From 2017. to 2020, he was the program manager and much more in the Pula club KOTAČ. He is currently at Pula's RADIO ROJC, where he edits and hosts the music show MJUZA. He is active as a DJ and his sets are still a combination of deep/tech/progressive electronical music. Fusion is BEBETTO’s musical philosophy.
