Dj Ace Highfield has been embroiled by all genres of music from a very young age. His love for dance music was to grow immensely when he became hooked on mix compilations released by Renaissance and Global Underground!!!!!!!
Ace also became a big fan of Radio 1s Essential Mix hosted by Pete Tong starring the worlds best djs displaying a 2 hour set every week featuring all genres of dance music. With a major music collection on the build Ace soon became focused on deep progressive house listening to sets from the likes of Sasha and John Digweed, he then was made aware of the standard of music and mixing amongst top class Djs throughout the industry!!!!!!!!
Getting his first set of vinyl turntables in 2000 at the age of 14 he became devoted to his mixing and his admiration to impress friends and family around him. Ultimately a few sets of decks later and alot of practice Ace finally got behind the decks in a club situated in the centre of belfast called Sin @Laverys in March 2006 .Wowing the crowd to a flawless set the night couldn't have went better. After getting a taste of what was to come Sin closed its doors and left Ace back in the bedroom hard at it!!!!!!!
Still hungry for a break in the industry Ace has been mixing away determined to hit the big time. Ditching his technics and vinyl and moving with the times Ace has upgraded to Pioneer CDJs and couldnt be any more focused on his music production and mix compilations. Music ways Ace has stuck to his roots and today plays generally dark deep progressive house and techno.. Playing music produced, remixed and charted by djs such as , Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seaman, Guy J, Audio Junkies, Alan Fitzpatrick, Erphun, Dibby Dougherty, Montero, Robert Babicz, Timo Garcia, Monaque, Guy Mantzur, Marcelo Vasami, Marc Poppcke, Bookashade, Nick Muir, Henry Saiz, Moby, King Unique, Dubfire, Underword, Quivver, Charlie May, Cid inc, Lank and many more!!!!!!
