VNZO - Santiago Estado Mental by Diamante Records (DMNT)

Diamante Records presents its latest release, this time introducing VNZO's debut with a tape cassette entitled "Santiago Estado Mental" (Santiago Mental State) consisting of 7 original tracks and 2 remixes from chilean X.A.T and brazilian Thingamajicks from Subtropics Records. This work was born from a creative process which starts with VNZO moving from his native land Valparaiso to the chilean capital, getting inspiration from dramatic, industrial, and obscure soundscapes representing through different bpms what the system force us to feel under the gloom of a city that abstracts us under capitalism survival. This music was composed and recorded during one year, a period in which VNZO also started performing his live show, positioning himself as one of the most interesting proposals when it comes to hardware heavy improvisation, warm sound, acid basslines and broken rhytms.
