IneKwelity (Talib Kweli Diss) by Diabolic published on 2016-06-24T06:56:45Z Lyrics: http://bit.ly/IneKwelityLyrics Whenever there’s a war of words in Hip-Hop, fans and followers alike often ask for the involved parties to “put it on wax!” Well, that’s just what New York rapper Diabolic has done with “IneKwelity,” a searing stream of shots aimed squarely at nemesis, Talib Kweli. For those not keeping up with the tiff, the two crossed paths and eventually got into it on Twitter. And rather than handle the business through a conversation on the social networking platform, Kweli took to his Medium account to pen a takedown piece about Diabolic and others who he says suffer from alleged “white fragility.” Rightfully so, Diabolic wasn’t having it. And rather than let things play out as they had, he hit the booth to do what he does best: body his enemy with battle raps. Produced by Junior Makhno (Vinnie Paz & Ill Bill, Chief Kamachi), “IneKwelity” boasts a haunting instrumental that’s perfectly suited for Diabolic’s unrelenting stream of ruthless bars. After mocking Black Star’s “Definition” chorus, he goes straight for the gut for nearly five minutes. Also, just to make sure none of his words are misunderstood or improperly cited, he’s provided the lyrics for “IneKwelity”—required reading if you’re following this story. “IneKwelity” is now available for stream, and can be downloaded through iTunes and all major digital retailers. And I noticed you bringing up people's colour a lot in the other comments (which is irrelevant as fuck in this particular context), I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not Caucasian btw. 2016/08/06 21:03:24 +0000 Comment by ProphetHipHop @ptrmilehigh: haha no I don't. I just find "soft" doesn't really explain much other than saying it's soft. You obviously don't have to explain what you mean by that but just as you are entitled to not explain, the same goes for people disagreeing with you saying this was 'soft'. 2016/08/06 20:56:36 +0000 Comment by suzer what a load of BS 2016/08/06 09:27:14 +0000 Comment by AmalijaDig @younglan: Word. And whoever thinks Talib bodied Bolic on a diss track has to be nearly fucking retarded. 2016/07/07 02:55:13 +0000 Comment by fonzerrellie sorry but this whole beef is lame AF, more divide and conquer BS 2016/07/02 19:36:43 +0000 Comment by YOUNGLAN @darkhalf: ^ read what I wrote. I just took time out my day to educate yall when I didn’t have to so youre welcome. Class dismissed children 2016/06/29 22:54:08 +0000 Comment by YOUNGLAN @zach-trevors: Calling talib a racist for being pro-black is disregarding CONTEXT. Saying race does not matter in this situation is disregarding CONTEXT. Open a history book. Black people were brought here to be slaves bro. we’re still dealing with those wounds. Being pro-black is a reaction to that. Hip hop is a socio-political movement, not just the music. People think it’s just about the technicality of the bars and saying hot shit. Nah fam, WHAT youre talking about matters. You sound stupid bro. Listen before you talk. Learn before you try to teach. Educate yourself. I am not checking for diabolic, nor will I ever be- not only because he’s irrelevant, (so irrelevant) but because he’s irrelevant. 2016/06/29 22:53:32 +0000 Comment by YOUNGLAN @zach-trevors: Obviously that means nothing to you. “when youre accustomed to privilege equality feels like oppression” talib was originally attacked on twitter because remedy, who is white, feels inscure with pro-black rhetoric. After some back and forth between them, diablolic, who again, was IRRELEVANT to the situation, hopped in to say kweli needs to ‘check himself’. Then he got mad when kweli came at him for ripping off his fans! And now he wants you to buy his diss track LOL. If youre letting that slide then I would say its not about the music for YOU. Regardless, maybe you think this track is hot out of context.. but context is everything! 2016/06/29 22:52:42 +0000 Comment by YOUNGLAN @zach-trevors: 1."Talib Kweli accused him of being racist when race was never brought up" The original argument was with remedy and diabolic was the one who hopped his irrelevant ass into the mix. 2. Race was brought up because it mattered in the situation... again that had 0 to do with diabolic. 3. There are some cool bars in this definitely but hes attacking Talib as a person as opposed to addressing the original argument, which, again he had 0 relevance in. 4. This wasnt about the music... it's about the messages that talib sends in his art and on his twitter, which is generally pro-black. 2016/06/29 22:46:32 +0000 Comment by Deltron @zach-trevors: I could say the same bout this track. Nothing on Bolic's track made me go "wow" or thought it was hard hitting. He sounded more like a scorn fan than anything else. The beat really kills it too. You act like Bolic's track is all facts too. Both didn't bring their A game and both use hyperbole to get their points across. You're taking this shit way too personal. 2016/06/29 22:05:41 +0000 Comment by Darkhalf @darkhalf: Track* 2016/06/29 21:56:18 +0000 Comment by Darkhalf @younglan: Everyday on twitter Talib looks down at the white man and seperates us from everyone, that is what I call racist.. Going to them lengths making white people look bad when there are millions globally that help everyone they can out is morally wrong! Regardless of this discussion, I think this track pisses on his music, yeah Talib is famous, it doesn't mean fuck all though, I listened to this rack regardless of what happened, there are MC's out there that fuck off labels and do their own thing missing everything media based entirely! Some of which are very talented and fair play to them. At least they don't make statements for attention every 2 minutes on twitter! 2016/06/29 21:55:44 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @younglan: You are the definition of "bugging" right now. You are straight up a hater theres no way this is about music for you. also u say he's irrelevant as if nobody knows him, hes not even an underground artist anymore. dudes on a song with 12 million views, not that it matters but where you been man 2016/06/29 20:51:15 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @younglan: Your opinion isn't based on facts either, its pulled from your ass. claiming he just did this for publicity is the BIGGEST cop-out that people use any time someone disses a well known rapper. Its just an excuse to try and discredit the diss instead of judging it unbiased 2016/06/29 20:47:12 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @younglan: are you serious? trying to capitalize ??? I think you did absolutely ZERO research on the situation. Talib Kweli accused him of being racist when race was never brought up, so Diabolic put him in his place. did you listen to his diss even?? "Not only do you generalize but you LIE IN GENERAL". THIS WAS ABOUT PRINCIPAL. NOT FANS OR MONEY DUMBASS 2016/06/29 20:45:38 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @deltron_3030: How can anybody be cool with the fact Talib Kweli literally FABRICATED all this shit about Bolic being racist just so he could get a foot up on their argument? NOBODY brought up race but Kwel. he got called out in this track when he said "Not only do you generalize but you LIE IN GENERAL" 2016/06/29 20:42:38 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @steveo529: Probably didnt listen to Diabolic's diss. dude said "NOT ONLY DO YOU GENERALIZE BUT YOU IN LIE GENERAL" he called him out for making up everything 2016/06/29 20:40:43 +0000 Comment by Deltron @zach-trevors: both weren't calibur level, but Kweli got at him good. You're obviously biased, don't even front. The beat to this is horrible. He had good jabs but overall it wasn't as fire as you claim it is. 2016/06/29 20:38:12 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @john-anon-3: if my profile picture was of a black man holding a Talib Kweli album you fucking sheep wouldn't be having this conversation thats a fact. all you care about is what side you're on, not the music 2016/06/29 20:37:14 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @deltron_3030: Every line he used was garbage, there was not even 1 actual part where i was like "yeah thats okay". he could do WAY BETTER than that man 2016/06/29 20:36:22 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @drazb: what happened to the days of rap where if someone won a battle they won the battle? it doesnt matter who's your favorate rapper, whether u a fan of Talib or a fan of Diabolic, you should just based on the skill and wordplay used. Kwel came with soft bars lacking effort, thats not hating thats a simple observation. He came with straight up PLAIN rhymes, why do people wanna give him a pass just because he's well known? 2016/06/29 20:34:32 +0000 Comment by Zach Trevors @drazb: This guy must have never been on the internet before, did you just get your first paycheck? you finally own a computer homie good for you. Sorry if it wasn't clear, the "LMFAOOOO" was me laughing my fucking ass off. it wasn't a placeholder due to lack of vocabulary, just letting you know your opinion is truly absurd. All I could do was laugh at it 2016/06/29 20:32:42 +0000
