Under the Surface (extrait/excerpt) by DFerraton published on 2016-04-28T02:48:40Z Part of a site-specific work created for the Concordia University Greenhouse. An underwater microphone was used to capture the subtle noises created by the movement of worms and fish, water sifting through the earth, and soil and rocks slowly shifting. These minimalist soundscapes illustrate what can be heard under the surface; sounds that are otherwise almost inaudible are revealed and brought up from the depths.
