If you cut a heart from parchment, is it still a heart? A nontrivial knot, where turns of every gradient may kiss and tell. Does the vessel have edges? Or is it all connectedness, an embedding to be stretched or bent. Imagine being simultaneously alive, bound in both directions with a bow! Is it diachronic, a phenomenon that changes over time? Without ardor theory suffers. That’s why I’m stuck on you with wanton glue, per- severing, styling something blobbish and macabre into something pointed, neat. Love is a gift that springs from an unlit spot. Resin and rue. Even when I’m in the dark I’m in the dark with you. I went to free sound and looked up space sounds. I got some from pages 1,7 and 4. I set the tempo to 63.37 and let ableton warp to that tempo. Went to the poetry foundation and searched connectedness. I selected this audio poem and pitched down 4 unwarped to get a better tempo and used the first third. I like the idea of connectedness but not in some utopian ideal way. Like Earth itself we are all floating around a black hole utterly alone. It is from this sense of being alone that we reach out to each other and recognize our connectedness to each other.
