Technicolour Flowers by DemiGosh published on 2018-11-13T20:56:37Z "Technicolour Flowers" emerged from the need to express an internal tension between an inherited tradition of Nigerian polyamory and the pressures of western masculinity, with Ade's own more vulnerable and flawed human impulses suspended precariously between the two. DEMIGOSH represents Ade's higher consciousness, his ancestral wisdom, and future evolution. From the elevated position of empathetic observer he narrates Ade's struggle to relinquish feelings of ownership over his partner, his consuming and destructive desire for her, and his inability to love her in the way she asked him to - openly.
