Days of Delay

Days of Delay reflects the ambient side of singer-songwriter Cyrus Ashrafi.

Days of Delay stands for improvised and acoustically decelerated paintings of sound. Often in interaction with visual artists and at unique places like churches, museums, industrial ruins, orphaned quayside warehouses, retired ships or nostalgic movie theaters.

Instruments are - in addition to computer-controlled processes, loops and ambient noises - the iranian santoor, the russian theremin, the omnichord, various synthesizers, piano, shortwave radio, midified kalimba, amplified wine glasses, weired apps and remote controllers.
