I wondered what kind of banjo player Al Capone was. Could he kill Foggy Mountain Breakdown, or did he just plink around on it? I went with the latter. I found a short banjo plinking type clip on freesound.org. You hear that four times in the piece. The spooky Alcatraz background came from distressing various industrial type sounds I had.
