1985 -2010 Mare was djing under the name MareSol & Mare Marinelli playing all sort of genres from Funk, Soul, Rap in the 80's & in the 90's Techno performing in Germany, Spain, Portugal & Italy. His most memorable moment was when he was djing at the legendary Fat Fugo club in Munich 1996. On that day the police raided the club and shut it down afterwards. The biggest event he was performing was the Love Parade 96.
1996 was also the year when Mare heard for the first time about Psy Trance while he was helping out doing an art work at the legendary Natraj Temple in Munich. Chris R.I.P !!He was exploring the sound for the next 2 years till he moved to London in 1998.
Mare was very fascinated, still is, about the great diversity and kind of fusion of all genres within the music you can hear in London. This was the reason why Mare was playing many different styles combined in one set like Bossa Nova, Break Beat, Big Beat, Deep House, NU Jazz, World, Lounge, Electronica, Rare Groove at Hakkasan, Sanderson, Light Bar, Match Bar, Momo's, Sosho to name a few.
When he got back behind the decks he was so amazed what you can do with Traktor Pro it was logical to use this software with controllers instead of spinning vinyl. The next generation was born and he went on tour to asia and performed on many places in Cambodia, Laos & Thailand most memorable the famous fullmoon party in KohPangnan in 07 & 08.
Mare played mostly Techno, Tec House & Minimal for the next 3 years but started collecting Psy Trance, Hard Dance, Hard House and Hard Trance tracks but it was Psychedelic Trance what made him most happy and so he decided to start playing full on Psy Trance from 2010 onwards. A new style, a new name and Daring Amare was born.
The philosophy behind Daring Amare?! Amare is latin and means Love and the Psy Trance scene is all about love. Daring means brave, doing something what you normally wouldn't do and this is all about djing. You got to do something what is not expected than you get the attention from the listener on or off the dancefloor. Don't be a machine especially in our times of computers, software and virtual friendships.
I am A Daring Mare :)
