Fragmented Time Lapse - disquiet0264 by Daniel Diaz published on 2017-01-21T17:54:55Z Music for Time Travelers (Disquiet Junto Project 0264) Record a piece of music that plays with the perception of time. I’m not sure if this arpegiator synth meets acoustic string section does deliver in this week’s junto idea: time travel, but I went for a musical time lapse idea, fast hysteric synths and soft expressive strings that seems to come from a different “time” ie a much slower paced tune, so there’s this feeling of being in a place a bit beyond our normal space-time. Harmonic shifts also seem to be a little away from normal/logical tonal flow. Hope you like it, cheers dd/Paris/21st january 2017 More on this 264th weekly Disquiet Junto project, Time Travel: Record a piece of music that plays with the perception of time”: disquiet.com/0264/ More on the Disquiet Junto at: disquiet.com/junto/ Subscribe to project announcements here: tinyletter.com/disquiet-junto/ Project discussion takes place on llllllll.co: llllllll.co/t/music-for-time-tr…-project-0264/6157/ photo by elena nicolai (c) Genre Electronic Comment by Chris Maher this song is so very haunting, reminds me so much of the works by Gustavo Santaolalla 2017-02-01T21:18:47Z Comment by encymoverflow Very cinematic! 2017-01-29T00:15:25Z Comment by W:I:L excellent concept, the synths and the strings blend together marvelously 2017-01-24T08:52:26Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) Effective use of your tools creating lots of differing movements. 2017-01-23T13:06:54Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) Hell of a pulse! 2017-01-23T13:04:47Z Comment by Ohm Research Really great piece. 2017-01-23T12:57:20Z Comment by Suss Müsik Tremendous motion. Can almost visualize images flying past, much like in a train or automobile. The strings are a nice contrast. 2017-01-23T01:33:10Z Comment by Hypoid This definitely delivers on the idea! A great sense of time differential between events, how some speed past while others crawl by, very nicely done :-) 2017-01-23T01:29:30Z Comment by WÜST awesome track, the arp and the strings fantastic combination, great work 2017-01-22T16:13:33Z Comment by RandomShuffle Love this moment when your strings come in.....!!!! 2017-01-21T22:39:19Z
