Born in Montreal (Canada), Daniel Berthiaume is an experienced composer and multi-instrumentalist who stands out for his extraordinary musical eclecticism. A seasoned guitarist, he also masters the keyboards and the song through which he has explored during his career a multitude of musical styles (rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, New Age, electronica, etc.).
In the 80s he traveled all over Quebec with different variety groups and presented more than 400 concerts of interpretation music (Supertramp, Genesis, U2, etc.) with The Holes, Blues with the Bluegators and original compositions with MOO.
It was during this period that he produced a debut album entitled Yellow Street (Dance Music), produced in collaboration with internationally acclaimed DJ M.C. Mario.
He also worked with Allen McCartey (Men Without Hats) Steve Tracey (Loni Gamble, Celine Dion) Luc Phaneuf (Starmania)
He composes and also realizes several music and soundtracks for corporate and advertising films.
In the early 90s he became interested in New Age music and quickly became a headliner of this booming style. During this period he produced 7 albums, all nominated at the ADISQ and was awarded the Félix (Quebec Trophy equivalent to Victories) for the album "The Sacred Fire" a record of instrumental music where we can particularly appreciate his game In 1994 he developed a concept that linked dance, music and spirituality that he called EGO and from which a ballet will be born presented in Montreal at the Salle du Gésu, and an album released in 1998.
He produced 4 albums between 1999 and 2002 including Les 4 éléments a compilation of his works.
He composed the title Agir, Réagir published in June 2004, which will be interpreted by Youssou N'dour, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Gad El Maleh, Daniel Levy, Faudel, Laam, Khaled and several others as part of a humanitarian operation linked to the Al Hoceima earthquake in Morocco.
Always through a humanitarian lens he created the song Je Suis Là interpreted by Princess Erika and Marina Vial for the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Secours Populaire Français at the Stade de France. By composing the music of the Elie Semoun pub, he participated in 2008 in the promotion campaign AIDES ATTIDES against AIDS supported by the CCAS
He continues his involvement with AIDES by composing the theme song (If) to highlight the association's 25 years of struggle. An artist collective (Daniel Powter, M Pokora, Christopher Willem, Justin Nozuka, Lara Fabian, Natasha St-Pier, Jenifer, Anggun, Sophia Essadi and many others) perform the song in a recording that will be released on December 1, 2009, the day of International AIDS Day
At the request of the French Secours Populaire he reoffends in 2015 and composes the theme song of the 70th anniversary of the association, performed by Strasbourg singer Nawelle K during a big event in front of 70,000 people around the Eiffel Tower
