DAIN honed the craft of mixing at some of the most infamous clubbing institutions in New York City history - including main floor residencies at the Limelight (2000-2003) and Spirit/ex-Twilo (2003-2005), Liquids, MK (now Highline Ballroom), Leopard Lounge, Le Souk, EXIT, among many others. His uplifting deep/tech house sets could also be heard at every venue imaginable in Gotham the likes of Pacha, Avalon, Arc/Vinyl, Tunnel, Sound Factory, Shelter, Centrofly, Discotheque, Filter14, Sin-Sin, Opium Den, the Frying Pan, etc. that would lead to gigs across Asia and Europe as far away as Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, London, Amsterdam & Dubai; including sets @ WMC, Burning Man, & radio mixes for Proton, Frisky, and EDMRadio.
Performing for hundreds to thousands of dedicated punters on a weekly basis helped him learn to read the crowd in any situation, but perfecting the art of opening utilizing record knowledge spanning across many genres remains a favorite specialty.
In the past, DAIN (as also one half of promotional/mgmt group Audio Elements), has worked with key nightlife figures & sponsors such as Landsdowne-Limelight Mgmt, international club brand Spirit, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher World Tour, Renaissance, Plexi PR, Collective Agency; as well as record release parties for labels such as Bedrock, Bonzai, Global Underground, Hooj Choons, Silver Planet, Tsunami, & Ultra Records.
