Cy Lamar Glasgow Cy Lamar is a Paris-based multidisciplinary artist and improviser. His music and sound work oscillates between the concepts of noise, ambient, contemporary classical and free improvisation. The pieces range from intricate and subtle, often pleasant textures to corrosive atonalities. He performs with electronics, field-recordings, string instruments and/or drums. He prefers a direct recording approach, meaning he will record in one take, without adding any effects or overdubs later on.
