Joshua M. Fulton (Cutt Throat) born May 6, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in South Baltimore on Heath and Clarkson. Cutt Throat was raised by his mother and father, with 2 brothers, a half brother, and a half sister. His parents separated while he was in gradeschool. His father moved to Fargo, ND while Cutt Throat stayed in Baltimore with his mother. Cutt Throat dropped out of high school due to lack of attendance and began running the streets. He was exposed to a urban lifestyle where he discovered he had a gift - cypher rapping on street corners around the neighborhood - and attracted attention from locals with the help of his family ties all throughout South Baltimore. He quickly earned the respect and love from various fans in many Baltimore neighborhoods with a rythmatic flo, realistic story lines, and remarkable wordplay about his life experiences. So he decided to purchase his own studio equipment so he could start engineering himself and other MC's in Baltimore. After learning to engineer he moved back with his father and oldest brother to Fargo. His brother was also a rapper by the stagname Furious having success and opening up for signed artist's in Fargo. They started a group called "Dem Krack Boyz" under Quad City Fam with a MC named Infrared G from Chicago, Dat Boy Blitz from Red Lake, Minnesota, Drew Burner from Marietta, Georgia and Furious and Cutt Throat formerly known as Dickhead from Baltimore, Maryland. Making the four cities combined for Quad City Fam where they made various mixtapes and songs together. Then Cutt Throat returned to Baltimore missing the city life, his mother, and other siblings. Upon returning he moved to Morrell Park in South Baltimore and was incarcerated for several crimes he did not commit and realized he needed to get out of the streets before he no longer had that opportunity. Upon his release he recorded another mixtape called "That Dickhead & Nitty shit" self-titled with a neighborhood MC named Lil Nitty. Nitty eventually introduced Cutt Throat to Ryan Escolopio the CEO of iBOT Records and began recording his music in a high grade professional studio releasing his solo mixtape "2 Real for the Radio". After being introduced to Sayne, Cutt Throat was introduced to Test Me at Powerhitter Records by Sayne. Shortly after, Cutt Throat introduced Sayne to his engineer Ryan Esclopioa the CEO of iBOT Records. After Cutt Throat & Sayne recorded about 2 songs together at iBOT Records they developed a healthy competition for one another writing songs and recording tracks. Cutt Throat & Sayne decided to start a partnership on "Yellow Tape Ent." and began working on their debut album together called "Undeniable" which later broke records at Rams Head Live for most sold tickets at an underground event.
Currently: This summer of 2013 Josh AKA Cutt Throat was diagnosed with Testicular cancer, this was devastating news for him and his whole family, but did not hold him back from working on his music. As the cancer news wasn't bad enough Josh had to have several emergency surgeries back to back for life threatening blood clots. Josh learned that he would have to complete four rounds of chemo therapy, after they were complete scans showed that he would have to have more chemo at a higher dose. This treatment literally almost killed him as his body could not handle much more. During this time Josh STILL worked on furthering his career as a solo artist, he has done two mix tapes, several shows in the Baltimore and surrounding areas, and dropped several new videos all while undergoing his extreme chemo therapy. As this has been one of the toughest journeys in Josh's AKA Cutt Throats life, his music is what gives him the drive to keep him fighting this fight.
