Cutmore Records is a London based label with a musical focus on Alternative Rock. The founder Les Cutmore and team, with the support of Sony distribution are looking to expose new and exciting talent that we think deserve a chance. Cutmore records is a sister label of Cutmore Entertainment / Trippin 'n' Rhythm Records which has been established for over 30 years in the USA, over that time the company has continuously topped the Billboard charts with number 1's on the album and single charts alike. We are looking forward to the same success with Cutmore records which we have had for the last 30 years.
Cutmore Records was originally set up by the labels owner long before he had any success elsewhere in the music business. From humble beginnings in London, Cutmore Records grew out of the explosion of the underground dance scenes of east London in the mid eighties. Along with many others Les Cutmore started mixing, Cutting and re-mixing his own dance floor flavours, influenced by the futuristic sounds of Kraftwerk, the soulful sounds of the seventies and the hardedge attitude of Punk.

In a time where vinyl was selling like hot cakes, small time producers and underground labels had an eager and dedicated audience who wanted to hear the sounds of the streets on the dance floor. The label name "Cutmore Records" had more than one significance. The obvious choice was used because of this very need for the local disc jockeys and independent record stores to have all the newest sounds, Ironically asking the guys with the connections to "Cut more records".

Thirty years later, Cutmore Records has come full circle and is now being re-opened and re-branded for a new audience. Cutmore Entertainment has had huge success in other area's of music in America with Trippin N Rhythm, and is now investing in some new artists closer to home. Again going in a new direction with the Alternate Rock scene.
