Tainted Utopia (aka Diluted Astronomy in Stereo) by CSOIM/Blank Vids published on 2013/02/11 01:36:31 +0000 Back before my old PC computer crapped out on me, I was going to put together an unreleased "odyssey" of an album called Uncharted. It was supposed to showcase my skills in producing and composing using only the Sound Recorder multitracking system. (That and Garageband is what I currently use for all my mixing, producing, arranging and composing.) The creation of this kind of things was really fun, and it helped that despite the lo-fi production, the music at least sounded clean. The idea of the piece is that it is supposed to sound...not spacious, but like a musical interpretation of ruin, struggle, death, something to that degree. Now, it sounds a bit like the juxtaposition of the medival (sic) and the futuristic. (Perhaps, I can continue with that concept in the future?) This song just happens to have been the rising action of a concept story. maybe if I get a chance, I'll finish it, and let you all hear it. Till then, here is an archive from my unfinished project collection. :-) the album was from an ambient/spacemusic album named "Uncharted".
