The China question could be best framed in terms of how Peter the Great viewed the West. In capsule, when the Russian travelled to the West under guise, his intention was to learn and use Western knowledge to further Russia, then to turn its back against it. This always was and continues to be China's long view of the US and our response should be one that works with China economically but with the knowledge that China does not aim to work with the US but rather against it. 2019-10-26T15:42:46Z
