I really like the movement thru this track. A bit mad, and yet, very engaging! 2016-08-30T22:25:20Z Comment by name constant junto projects the choice of sounds meets all my expectations 2016-08-30T09:42:32Z Comment by Cryptohelix @rick_monster: The pulse is one of the bass synth keyboards in garageband, so should be easy to recreate on a MIDI synth, or another program with a lot of pre-programmed pads. The one-pulse-a-beat technique is pretty common in classical music, and I've heard it in a Klaus Nomi song or two, and I think the (70s) Invasion of the Body Snatchers soundtrack. It is a great way to provide a bed over which to play more stuff, without sweating a big drum kit until later. 2016-08-30T04:07:29Z Comment by Hypoid Really like the orchestral elements leading into the last section! 2016-08-29T23:25:40Z Comment by pytchblend Loving the ratchetting 2016-08-29T13:49:21Z Comment by Endurance Fantastic sense of Carpenter-esque menace in this part. 2016-08-29T12:45:47Z Comment by Endurance beautiful synth sounds here! 2016-08-29T12:44:36Z Comment by rick_monster beautifully simple rhythmic device - the 'hidden pulse' in this section. now, how to recreate a similar effect on my setup... 2016-08-29T06:45:18Z
