Croyde Baptist Church We are Croyde Baptist Church. These talks are edited from the Sunday talks. As a church we often discuss the talk afterwards openly together. These discussions have generally been left out of these recordings but are a highlight of meeting with us at Croyde Baptist! - You'll just have to come and experience it for yourself! : ) Sunday mornings at CBC We start our service at 11am for worship, prayer and teaching and have communion every other Sunday. We have a relaxed, welcoming and informal style and also alot of small children. We do hope that young or old, visitor or local you will find a warm welcome when you come to CBC We follow our service with tea and coffee with a chance to chat and get to know eachother better. Every couple of months we have a bring and share luch or in the summer months meet out for a walk or picnic. Also every 6 weeks or so we have 'cafe church'. This is brunch around small group tables with activities and a short message. Cafe church starts at 10.30am Please watch our facebook page or calendar for details and dates of these. Kids church happens every sunday (except cafe church Sundays) and the kids leave part way through our service. Declaration of Principle - The Basis of the Baptist Union is: 1. That our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is the sole and absolute authority in all matters pertaining to faith and practice, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and that each Church has liberty, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to interpret and administer His laws. 2. That Christian Baptism is the immersion in water into the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, of those who have professed repentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ who 'died for our sins according to the Scriptures; was buried, and rose again the third day'. 3. That it is the duty of every disciple to bear personal witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to take part in the evangelisation of the world.
