"Finally Quiet In My Head" a tribute to madness, family, friendship and finding your roots from SE DC to Senegal had its US premiere at the Anacostia Arts Center as part of the DC Black Theatre Festival June 20-21, 2015, starring Muslima Musawwir, Christopher Akinbuwa, Tuesday Barnes, Gwen Lewis, Steve Langley and Janani Ramachandran. Original painting by DC artist Zsudayka Nzinga. Production was directed by Cristina Bejan and Brittney Sankofa and promoted the local charity NAMI DC to raise awareness for those who suffer form mental illness and their loved ones.
