Cringer Raised by jackals in the darkest mountain recesses of Appalachia, Cringer emerged from the back woods armed with two turntables and a fattened sack of dubplates. Traveling to Chicago, he found home with the Part Time Sucker crew bringing his signature brand of bass-ridden drum-driven Jungle and Drum n' Bass. Since then, Cringer has crossed paths with the low level rumblings known as Dubstep and, after dueling with swords on the beaches of Ganryu Island, they joined forces to untwine soundscapes that exist where bass becomes "sub". Feeling the call of the wild, Cringer traveled west in pursuit of the setting sun. In the City of Angels, he found refuge in the concrete and steel and continued his study and development of Bass Culture. Scribing his ethos in what he called '"The Book of Five Blings" Cringer both defined and embodied the archetype of Bass Gangster. Currently, Cringer can be found ruthlessly rattling bass bins and scorching dance floors in a neo-ritualistic reunion of drummer and dancer. To seek the Cringer, one need not look far...merely follow the trail of toppled speaker stacks and demolished sub cabinets, and there you shall find him.
