Tribal Techno Minimal Progressive House Tech-House
Boston native schooled in the New York Club scene from the age of 17. Veteran to such clubs as the Palladium, Club USA, The Tunnel, Limelight, Sound Factory, Cheetah, Carbon, Discotheque, Life, Spirit, The Roxy, Gypsy Tea, Tavern, Neptunes, Twilo, The Sullivan Room, Water Taxi Beach (LIC) and CroBar (Borrrris!!)... as well as in Miami at Liquid, The Mix, GrooveJet, Glam Slam, The Bash, Chaos, WMC, and Space/Terrace.
The earliest Live DJ influences in America were DT, Junior Vasquez, Plasmic Honey, Cevin Fisher, Peter Rauhofer, Jonny Vicious, Victor Calderone, Sasha & Digweed (NYC Exposure), but most of all Jonathan Peters at Soundfactory 96-99. It was during this "golden age" of house music, DJs, clubbers, and club scene that the "New York Sound" was further defined with tribal drums, massive vocals, locked rhythms, hypnotic loops, delayed beats, insane buildups, and of course... The "Bangers." Seoulstice was hooked.
From there it was a seven year off and on sabbatical in Europe. Primarily in Firenze, Roma, Palermo, Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Barcelona. Spending whole chunks of two and three years a time abroad while always coming home and going to beloved NYC to hear the new sounds and see the many talented DJs.
Europe had the wealth of trance in Holland, house and trance in England, techno in Germany, tribal in Portugal, electro in France, house and drums n bass in Italia... and it also had mega clubs like The Hacienda, Fabric, Danzatoria, IT, TNX, Pacha (Ibiza), Privlidge, Area, Muretto, Super Paradise, Buddha Bar, and Les Bains to name a very few.
Earliest European Live DJ influences were Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Dave Seaman, DJ Vibe, Daft Punk, PVD, Thomas Schumacher, Armin Van Buren and this little known (at the time "97") resident DJ in Liverpool at club Cream... Paul Oakenfold.
