Do you think that a major difference between New and Old Canon is that the New Canon tends to lean more towards fantasy while the old canon tended to lean more towards Science Fiction? 2017/02/17 05:56:54 +0000 Comment by redleader antilles I think the new canon has been doing a good job of showing us different Force bases faiths and stuff. My big hope is that they stick to the idea that balance in the force is the light side winning out over dark cause balance being equal between the two kinda goes against what the force is in the films. that being the the dark side while needed cause life needs opposition, is almost like a cancer as Lucas called it. It is part of the force but not a good thing. It keeps growing and perverting the Force if it is not stopped. You don't want equal light and dark in the galaxy in the same way you don't want 50% of your body to have cancer. Mortis kinda plays with this where the light and dark in balance just leads to death and misery for all cause the dark not being redeemed at all will lead to it destroying itself and others. Wonder if they are gonna use that idea into the new canon. Bendu in rebels is the grey but even then is played off as apathetic and a bit of a jerk. 2017/02/12 05:25:09 +0000
