The Resistance has an old a-wing, T-70 model X-Wings, apparently some new A-Wings, rumored a B-wing, a MC-80 called Echo of Hope, and that moded B-wing and that is it. To the point that the NR is phasing out military ships, the big cruiser post Endor is the new Nadiri mark One StarHawk. They are now the primary ship for the NR it seems but since the NR is going down to 20% of its military I assume they will end up with planetary defense fleets and who knows maybe the resistance grabbed a few. The big thing I am waiting for is a reveal of a full resistance fleet. The NR lost one of its only if not the only fleet it had so the Resistance is gonna have to pick of the pace on getting more. My hope is that Wedge and/or Lando have been buying or "losing track" of ships to build a fleet. Aside from them being dead that is the only way I buy them not being part of the resistance in TFA. 2017/02/12 04:21:37 +0000 Comment by redleader antilles I feel like the story group should really just tell us what is going with the Old Republic Era. They have made a bunch of illusions to it recently like the Hammerheads being apparently historical recreations of an old Republic vessel (at least according to Pablo they were used by the Republic back in the day still) and the Aphra book actually talking about the Massasi temple on Yavin 4 being related to some force based stuff and some subtle illusions to Exar Kun as well. All of that is cool but they need to get to a point where we will actually get to see this stuff cause as it stands we just have little bits taken when they think a callback would be cool. If they want to do Revan and the Jedi Civil War again I would not be against it as long as it is actually unique but I would rather have that story be told and be one worth telling rather than using this stuff as just fodder for "look we know this exists" stuff. 2017/02/12 04:14:36 +0000 Comment by redleader antilles Ezra is actually exactly the same age as Luke and Leia to the day according to Rebels. Cause why the heck not? But yeah The Last Jedi. I like it i guess. My big reason for not being head over heels for it is that it embodies why I disliked TFA, that being the fact that we got a whole trilogy on the Jedi coming back only for them to have literally one new padawn (Luke only had Ben everyone else were just acolytes apparently) and even he fell. It feels like all the work to bring them back and everything was for nothing in a way. I really need this film to keep them going. I do not want a new type of force user group coming out of this. They can shift away from the PT Jedi but I hope they are still jedi at their heart. I mean how many faiths have lessened in following for a time or went through eras full of mistakes yet are still around?
