Aphelion (Rhys Closson) grew up in Victoria on Vancouver Island, and now resides in Brooklyn. He's been DJing for over 10 years and started out as a vinyl Tech-Step DnB DJ. His travels through the Europe underground, and gigs in the North American scene have instilled a rooted passion for hypnotic and dub techno. Previously he was a part of a duo named re_Click who released on the Vancouver Imprint Subspec. In 2017 he is working on an EP and playing gigs around New York.
