GUEST SERIES 044 : False Witness by CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE

@falsewitness aka Marco Gomez got their start in electronic music immediately upon a move from Boston, MA to New York City in 2014. Their formative years here were spent embracing the emerging Brooklyn approach to queer nightlife, Techno, and contemporary art.

It wasn't long before their music caught on, leading to appearances at Frieze London, MoMA PS1's Warm Up, and a DJ residency with infamous club night GHE20G0TH1K. He would continue to hone his sound inside other major New York techno destinations like Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Spectrum, and Unter.
By 2019, Gomez took off to Berlin, diving directly into various sections of the city's queer scene. Their production and performance sound has been deeply influenced by the move, incorporating elements from Synthwave, Italo, and EBM into their sonic palette.

Today, they are an official resident at Renate Berlin, hosting their own queer event "Back Alley Sally's" alongside fellow resident S.Ruston and Berlin nightlife darling Nellee Dii. They are also a close associate with E-Missions Recordings, a New York City based label helmed by P.Leone.
