Adjowa is a musician from London who distills a love of disco, boogie and early techno into his own productions. Using low-rent, often overlooked hardware to create a distinct sound palette and adopting an instinctive ‘one-take’ attitude towards composition, Adjowa’s music is raw and uncontrived.

For Raw Colour, Adjowa recorded a handful of patterns into a hardware sequencer used to drive a small arsenal of synths and a drum machine, smoked a little, donned his kimono and pressed record - arranging, composing and adding parts on the fly to create a 30 minute live performance.
