DJ Williams' Shots Fired - "Iron Fist" | Color Red Music by Color Red published on 2020-05-07T01:27:32Z DJ Williams’ Shots Fired comes out swinging with a hard-driving funk-rock tune “Iron Fist.” The track is the first release in a four-part cinematic movie theme-inspired album. “Iron First” depicts the persona of ‘The Samuari’ with Williams wielding the sword in his Jimi Hendrix meets Eddie Hazel-inspired guitar work. The groove is accentuated with sharp Tower of Power-like horn punches provided by Nick Gerlach, Scott Flynn and Andre Mali. The song features a myriad of heavy hitters including Joe Tatton of The New Mastersounds on keyboards, Dan Africano on bass, and Kowan Turner on drums. Shots Fired will release one song every month leading up to the album's full drop in August 2020.
