Faith-based groups do a tremendous amount of work that impacts communities' structure and function - rebuilding after disasters hit, developing affordable housing, and helping those in poverty. Yet planning education generally does not deal with faith. "It's this whole realm, and we come up against it all the time, but we keep ignoring it," said MIT professor Annette Kim.
