Bones Of Contention by Cleverality published on 2017-03-28T19:16:43Z BONES OF CONTENTION is a radio docudrama on the life and work of Irish writer Brian O'Nolan (aka Flann O'Brien or Myles Na gCopaleen) as told by his various writing avatars. Described by The Irish Times as 'an enjoyably inventive docudrama' using 'sharp humour', a 'vivid reimagining', and 'an absorbing portrait'. Interspersed throughout the comedic dramatisation are interviews with the likes of novelists; Julian Gough and Pat McCabe; comedians, The Rubber Bandits, Ardal O'Hanlon, Tommy Tiernan and David McSavage, actor Eamon Morrissey, literary experts Dr Keith Hopper and Dr. Carol Taaffe, poet Louis De Paor and dramaturge Jocelyn Clarke. It features performances by Jack Lowe, Kevin Marron and Rachel Rath. Recorded by Brian Wallace in Burbank, California. Original Music and sound design by David Ayers.
