City Fly is DJ/Producer Collective, Record Label & Club Party from Leicester, UK. City Fly consists of Jonna, The Last Trip To Gandahar, J’Shez, Dale Tonks & Darran P. They have been responsible for helping it grow from a small club night into a global record label ‘championing the best in house music' releasing music from the likes of DJ Nature, Fred P, Andres, Kez YM, Simbad, Lay-Far, Red Rack'em and Basic Soul Unit. The releases by Tim Toh & Kez YM have both received DJ Mag’s highest rated ‘Money Shot’ house release’s in separate print edition’s. City Fly is the only label to achieve this with 2 consecutive releases.
As DJ’s, as well as playing around the world they have also kept good company playing alongside a diverse range of artists from Roy Ayres, Louie Vega, MCDE, DJ Sneak, Kyle Hall, Jimpster & Benji B to name a few & as producers released music on respected labels like Kolour LTD, Shadeleaf, R2, BBE, Lumberjacks In Hell, Better Listen, Intimate Friends & City Fly Records of course. Their sound consist of House, Techno & Disco with lots of Groove & Soul.
They have been putting on regular parties in Leicester and further afield for over 10 years now and considered to be a ‘key part of this scene’ & a 'true midlands deep house institution’ according to cult blog Ransom Note
