Southview Fountain District by Chris Porter published on 2018-01-16T01:50:00Z "Southview Fountain District" After finishing up the soundtrack to YOMOTSU, I was in a bit of a creative slump/writer's block. I took a break from composing, spending more time outside and with my family, playing video games, and doing other things to try to refuel some of my creativity. Here's my first composition since bouncing back. I wanted to write something both serene and festive, making use of much of the orchestra (since YOMOTSU was pretty heavy on guitars and percussion). I imagine this piece playing in an RPG town, in an area with beautiful fountains set atop cobblestone streets.
