From Indifference (Guitar Track) by Chris C Hickman published on 2012-08-28T19:24:39Z (C) Chris Hickman - Written 02/23/2004 I could never tell you, How wonderful you were. You would always turn away. And feel that much uglier. And so I wrote music, Which I could never share, Your indifference inspired, Poetry I would bear. Falling metaphors that I saw So clear beneath my hands Were the words that I'd have spoken That you'd never understand. I needed you to torture, The love inside of me. To make something beautiful, Which once felt ugly. And so I write music, Which is mine to share, My heart was a canvas of Poetry to wear. Falling metaphors I saw, So clear beneath my hands Were words that I'd have spoken That you'd never understand. Where you are in all these stories, Is the muse that set this path, You inspired so much beauty, These words.
