Over the past 13 years Kachinga has spent his time crafting and training his skill set into a sound you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB; Kachinga with the aid of longtime friend/legendary producer/business partner Nima Hakimzadeh, known as Neemz Beetz; formed the band SkoolCity. Together SkoolCity released two self produced projects; an Lp "It's Raining" and an ep "Bloody Nose". The two worked together, managing to release a single in partnership with G.O.O.D Music recording artist Mr.Hudson and appear on recording artists The Lytics nation wide released album"They Told me". After a conversation with Superphone Ceo and recording artist Ryan Leslie about the music industry, they decided to open up a recording studio and restructure the band into the production team Lavacru alongside audio engineer Cam Banika, giving them fluidity to produce and publish music of their own and for others across all genres. Currently Kachinga and the Lavacru are working on his first solo release titled 'Sky Falling", while prepping for a tour of the same name, all while Lavacru continues to create.
