Fashion stylist, party promoter and DJ in venues all around Spain, Jordi Chicletol throws parties with lineups never seen in Barcelona, with international and alternative hypes. He’s the responsible of Iggy Azalea, Eli Escobar, Adore Delano, Cazwell and Brooke Candy’s debut in the city and mixes his occupation with artistic photography and styling fashion productions.
Nowadays with a residence on Razzmatazz, he has been playing for a long time at Cabaret Berlin and at Sala Apolo (with the hip-hop session called Notorious CLUB that the duo Nasty Mondays hosted for some months), showing his eclectic culture’s power -and his CD-case’s-, that allows him to make pleasant any kind of event, using black music, chicago & deep house and pop resonancies as a weapon.
His suscessful sessions like La Rara, Hard Candy and #SnackScene -with his friend and DJ TvMnstr on board- have brought him to play at Trou Aux Biches in Paris, at Larry Tee’s weekly session at East Bloc (London), clubs all over Spain and to take part of the summer tour #CoronaSunsets by Corona, and be on Arenal Sound festival’s lineup.
His camaleonic dj sets -full of eclecticism, black sounds, hedonism, deep & chicago house and pop resonancies- are known for turning the venues upside down in a rave frenzy, while everyone throw their hands up in the air.
Parallel to his promoting and djing career, Jordi developed 'The Hot Spot'. Since 2010 takes every opportunity to take photos of the kind of boys he misses in the homoerotic art scene, portraited in the way he'd love to find them, also imitating his idols such as Elvis Di Fazio, Slava Mogutin and Bruce LaBruce, and mixing his creations with his other two passions: fashion & music. Actually, musicians like Mykki Blanco, Gio Black Peter or the spanish rapper Arufe have been portraided by Jordi. Pictures from 'The Hot Spot' has been featured in media like Butt Magazine, Anal Magazine, East Village Boys, and his last two exhibitions have been recommended by Shangay or Time Out.
