One of the good things about a pandemic that forces one to shelter in place is that it provides the time and space for creativity to spawn. Cherished Ghosts pulls emotional inspiration from fear, transformation, and a desire to fight depression creeping through prolonged isolation. Artistic inspiration was pulled from genre bending artists such as Animals as Leaders, Plini, Periphery, Their Dogs Were Astronauts, Loathe and Meshuggah.
