Episode 38: The One With Jessica Fishlock & Kaylyn Kyle Of The Seattle Reign FC by Cheeky Backheel published on 2013/05/16 18:08:46 +0000 A tale of two halves is a common phrase used in football matches. I think that's the best way to describe this episode of the podcast. The first half, the one you'll want to actually listen to is where we were fortunate to have on two players from the Seattle Reign FC. Jessica Fishlock made another appearance and joining her was squad mate Kaylyn Kyle. The ladies talked about the early-season struggles and you can hear it in their voices the commitment to turn it around - something we firmly believe in and we're not being homers about it (okay a little). We also had a small Q&A session with them where Fishlock shared her favorite memory of Sir Alex Ferguson, Kyle shares her thoughts on Canada hosting the next Women's World Cup. It was also during the Q&A session that you will hear the banter Fishlock and Kyle have with each other the likes of a buddy duo sitcom. That was the first half, the fun half. As for the second half of the podcast, well it's back to the off the rails shenanigans that we're probably best known for. We talk about the Sounders demolition of San Jose - part of the Cascadia clean sweep of the California, the Arsenal/Wigan clash aka The Charles Lehman Fluctuating Blood Pressure Cup, react to Chivas USA splitting the Farfan Brothers, Manchester City's sacking of Roberto Mancini, the case for Orlando City to be the 20th MLS franchise, and more. So yeah, a podcast of two halves. This is Episode 38.
