Charlotte Wrinch Charlotte Wrinch Gibsons firstname.lastname@example.org Charlotte Wrinch is a singer-songwriter living on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, and is an active member of the Canadian music industry. A FACTOR Demo Award winner, she plays acoustic guitar, piano, and a collection of recorders and penny whistles. She performs regularly at many of the festivals and live music venues on the BC coast. Two of Charlotte Wrinch's professional goals are to compose music and lyrics that tell a story; and to look and sound like herself. Released Oct 31st 2014, her studio album Kiss The Ground is receiving airplay at many college, community and internet stations across North America and as far abroad as Bangalore, India and Brisbane, Australia. Kiss The Ground has also been added to CBC’s national library in Toronto. Charlotte has appeared as a guest on Coast Cable TV, and has been featured as the cover story for Sunstream Magazine. Just recently, Toronto-based internet radio network Mediazoic featured Charlotte Wrinch as their Unsigned Indie Artist of the Week, and the album has been charting at CFBX and other college stations for several weeks in the Folk/Roots album category. Her style has been compared to Blossom Dearie, Joni Mitchell, Nanci Griffith, Astrid Gilberto and Feist, and radio station music directors typically place her into the Indie Pop/ Folk/ Roots genres.
