This is another area where unpleasantness is pushed away from the public eye so business as usual can continue. We never see gunshot wounds after a mass shooting, the idea is appalling to people, but I wonder if the media made unpleasant things actually unpleasant, we could get some movement, instead it's just 5 people shot dead, bla bla, let's check the traffic.
