Today's sound file is the "Polyeleos," the psalms of praise sung on Sundays and feasts at Matins in the Byzantine Churches. This setting is in Greek, arranged by Greek-American composer Anna Gallos. The Schola Cantorum of St. Peter the Apostle sang this in a concert in the crypt church of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
