Groovy rolling basslines, deep melodic techno, minimal, acid and 90s house can all be heard in Cassette's sets and productions.
Not one to be pigeon holed, or limited by others perceptions, Cassette draws influence from many genres.
Early attendance at raves listening to Drum n Bass, Garage, house and techno, combined with her childhood exposure to jazz, soul and blues have all helped shape her into the dynamic house and techno queen she is today.
Whether it be hard house, techno or minimal there is a signature groove in all her sets and productions.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Cassette has toured Australia nationally, performing shows across the country and gaining strong support from renowned club brands Spice, Blueprint and S.A.S.H.
Now a firm favourite of Division Agency and Paul Strange, Cassette holds residency at Division Events and Sydney's newest hotspot Goodbar where she regularly rinses the state of the art Void Accoustics sound system and continues to build her local following. She also hosts DivisionRadio on Bondi Radio. The show is streamed by listeners from all around the globe and continues to build momentum.
Internationally, her mixes have been featured on radio stations, websites and blogs around the world resulting in club and festival gigs in Europe, USA, Africa, Mexico, The UAE and Asia.
From New York Fashion Week to gritty underground havens, Cassette has supported the likes of Digweed, Dixon, Nina Kraviz, Âme, Jamie Jones, Radioslave, Alexkid, Robag Wruhme and Archie Hamilton.
Her music knowledge and creativity is not limited to the club scene, she has been headhunted to work with high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Harpers Bazaar, Nike and Adidas.
Now venturing deeper into the world of production Cassette is currently studying electronic music production full time at TAFE Music Ultimo. With plenty of unreleased tracks the pipeline I'd advise you to stay tuned because Cassette is worth the hype.
